Ketu – the light weight

Ketu, astronomically, is the south node of the moon. It is the point where the path of the moon and the sun intersects. In mythology, he is the body of the demon Swarbhanu after being beheaded by Shri Vishnu.

Ketu represents soul, inner intentions, light weight, unseen factors, pointed objects, spirituality, covert operations, secret agents, fightback, snipers, ambush, astral travel, sightings of ghosts, holy ancestors, liberation, nirvana avastha, escapism, unbound, maternal grandfather, silence, restlessness, past life connection, wordless or non-understandable music and headlessness. 

Ketu is naturally a malefic planet and in classics, it is represented as a fierce warrior with intention only to destroy the things. He has a very fearful appearance and is wandering like an aimless warrior who is still willing to fight. Since, his only motive is to make you light weight and free from all those significations of that house, which are only nourishing your physical value and not making your soul happy.

A person with unbalanced ketu will find a way to escape the situation saying that he/she is not getting the vibes or not feeling the connection, the person feels restless, self restrained and wandering minded, also will experience issues with maternal grandfather. The person will like to leave everything and run away, because of the separative nature of Ketu. Such people will do the work on gut feeling but might fail.

Whereas a person with balanced ketu will always go to soul to get the answers of the situation, provided that the ketu should have some support from any planet to avoid escapism, this person will easily catch intentions and connect to those having good intentions. As good as the ketu the person may be much into spirituality and may have experienced supernatural encounters. Moreover, with a good relationship with maternal grandfather, these people are detached to everything of worldly matter, they rely much on gut feeling.

In both conditions, one can observe that the ketu is always making you light weight by removing the things you are related to but in his own way. If balanced, he gives you light weight and detachment from the things for a higher purpose which you understand easily but if unbalanced he can make you swing between the attachment and detachment to the things. 

Ketu’s habit of making you light weight can sometimes bring chaos in the material life and also in the spiritual path if he is disrupted in chart.
